The laboratory of enzymes chemistry was founded in 1987 on the basis of biochemical analytic group, department of zoo-phytotoxines of the Institute. In its research the laboratory traditionally uses wide range of physico-chemical methods: chromatography, optical spectroscopy (IR, UV ), electrophoresis (IEF, HPCE), ultracentrifugation.

    The principal direction of laboratory is investigation of physiologically active substances isolated from animals and plants: toxins, components of kallikrein-kinin system, enzymes and etc. The laboratory investigates process of fibre-formation biosyntesis and inheritance of the certain properties of various species and genetic lines of cotton-plant.
