- Developing of high technology, import substituting and export-oriented technology of production of drugs created at the Institute for medicine, agriculture, food-processing industry, etc.
Important results
- In laboratory following technology of manufacture was developed:
- high gossypol cotton oil in conditions of the industry;
- technical gossypol (ТG) from high gossypol cotton oil to industrial manufacture;
- high purified cotton oil under a trademark "Egdu" - meeting the world standards;
- pharmaceutical gossypol and gossypol acetic acid;
- antiviral drug Linimentum of gossypol 3%;
- antiherpetic drug of Unguent Megosyn;
- immunosuppressive drug "Batriden";
- food starch from rice;
- pheromone of cotton scoops and production of complete sets of pheromone traps;
- production of low-gossypol cotton oil cake;
- hemostatic drug "Lagoden".
Practical application of results
- The technology of high-gossypol oil is introduced into manufacture of the joint venture "CASK oil Division".
The technology of production of high purified oil under a trademark "Egdu" is produced on wider industrial scales, i.e. at the Karshi oil extraction plant, Uzbekistan-Singapore joint venture.
The technology of low gossypol cotton oil cake is introduced into manufactures of the wide industrial scale (in 11 oil extraction plants of the country).
In experimental factory of the Institute are produced:
- food starch from rice;
- technical gossypol;
- pharmacopeae gossypol and gossypol acetic acid;
- "Lagoden" - medicine.
Pheromones of cotton noctuids and complete sets of pheromone traps. At present, it is applied practically in all cotton plantations of the Republic.
Package of normative - engineering documents on developing new cardiotonic drug "Bakagin" are transferred to the Pharmacological Committee of Uzbekistan to obtain the sanction on clinical tests.
Plans for future
- Development of manufacturing technology of a new medical product "Bakagin", possessing cardiotropic activity.
The solution of actual problems of production of phospholipids from vegetable oils of Uzbekistan and their target usage in a national economy.
Development of manufacturing technology of antiviral remedy "Linimentum gossypol 3%", antiherpetic remedy of Unguent "Megosyn", antichlamidious drug of "Gozalidon" and other physiologically active derivatives of gossypol.
