The Laboratory of Pharmacology was organized in 1973. A wide range of pharmacological researches of biological active compounds isolated or synthesized by different labs of the Institute is carried out in the laboratory. Main goals of investigations are determination of specific pharmacological properties and elucidation of possibility of their using in practical medicine.

    The staff of laboratory is able to fulfill quite a number of researches in fields of pharmacology of circulatory system, neuro- and psychopharmacology; to study a modulatory role of neuroreceptors at functional state of vegetative and high nervous systems; to produce a search and study of antianemic, hemostatic, wound- and ulcerorepairing, as well anti-inflammatory compounds.
